This Privacy Policy explains what information Little Frog Studio ("we", "us") collects when you visit www.littlefrogstudio.com or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We're a small studio, and we only collect what we need to make and send your order.
Information we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, shipping address, and the items you buy. You give us these at checkout.
- Payment information: payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Stripe shares limited information with us, like the last four digits of your card and whether the payment succeeded.
- Pond Pals Club details: if you join the club, we keep your name, email, shipping address and membership status so we can send your monthly box.
- Your account (optional): if you create an account, we keep your email address, your name if you add it, and your saved shopping cart, so your cart and order history are there when you come back. You log in with a one-time link we email you. There are no passwords to store.
- Messages: if you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
- Basic technical information: like most websites, our server automatically records things like your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies and your cart
Your shopping cart is saved in your own browser (using "local storage") so it's still there when you come back. It isn't sent to us until you check out. If you log in to your account, your cart is also saved to your account so it can follow you between devices. We use one login cookie to keep you logged in (for up to 30 days, or until you log out). We don't use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- To process payments, pack and ship your order, and deliver digital downloads.
- To run your Pond Pals Club membership, including monthly boxes and renewals.
- To send emails about your order, like confirmations, download links and shipping updates.
- To answer your questions and handle returns or problems.
- To prevent fraud, keep the site secure, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked to receive them, and we never sell or rent your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share information with services that help us run the shop, and only what they need:
- Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Shipping carriers like USPS: your name and address, to deliver your package.
- Our website host and email provider: to run the website and send order emails.
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
- Authorities: if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal reasons, which is usually several years. Club membership details are kept while you're a member and for a reasonable time after you cancel. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), unless we're required to keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can see your orders and update your name anytime in your account. You can also ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you (including closing your account) by emailing shoplittlefrogstudio@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under your state's law, and we'll honor those requests.
Security
Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and payments are processed by Stripe, which meets strict industry security standards. No website is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our shop is meant for adults and teens shopping with a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Big changes will be posted clearly on the site.
